One of the more common dental health procedures clients are experiencing are wisdom teeth removals. Not every wisdom teeth will need to be removed, but many individuals simply do not possess adequate space for their teeth to comfortably fit into the mouth or individuals have a difficult time keeping wisdom teeth clean and germ free as these molars are too far to the back in the mouth.
When wisdom teeth become impacted (wedged below another tooth), this might bring about other problems such as irritated, swollen, or inflamed periodontal tissues around the partially erupted wisdom tooth, loss of bone on the rear of the teeth directly in front of them, root resorption, and soreness on the wisdom tooth site that seems to appear and disappear irregularly. Some have recommended that impacted wisdom teeth could also lead to crowding of the teeth. Occasionally, unerupted wisdom teeth might develop cysts, which in fewer instances, these types of cysts may become cancerous!
